THIS IS A PAGE THAT SHOWS "SOME" OF THE VEHICLES THAT HAVE HAD SUPERCHARGER SYSTEMS FITTED AND OTHER MODS BY OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS AND HAVE ENDED UP ON OUR DOORS TO SORT OUT THEIR PROBLEMS AND TO TURN THE CARS BACK INTO WHAT THE OWNER WAS TRYING TO GET IN THE FIRST PLACE.
WE WOULD ALWAYS SAY "DO IT ONCE DO IT RIGHT", BUT IN THESE CASES IT IS MORE A "DON'T THROW THE BABY OUT WITH THE BATH WATER" AND "MAKE SOMETHING GOOD OUT OF SOMETHING THAT HAS GONE BAD".

This is a really well built AC Cobra replica, the new owner brought it in to check over and make sure everything had a clean bill of health. Everything has been done very thoroughly except the un-intercooled 1900 Harrop blower had a very poor tune, we went through the tuning to start with and saw some great gains. We also could see just how badly this setup needed a intercooler. Given this info the owner decided to get the intercooler down and took another suggestion I had made about relocating the air cleaner where it could take advantage of the cold air that comes in through the std bonnet scoop, in the picture you can see the finished lay out I came up with, this works a treat. When this car came in it had 286rwhp, after just a tune we saw 384rwhp on a open bonnet run and then with these mods done we saw 419rwhp even with the bonnet down, super tough car to drive now, very impressive.
OK here is a 2006 VE GTS that came to us from over east, wasn't running to bad but did need to be registered and permitted. On checking it out we found a few upgrades would be suited to get it to perform like it should. We fitted one of our full exhaust systems, an OTR, a full custom 2 bar mafless tune and some improvements to the intercooler, this netted some good gains, without having to raise the boost at all. Base hp was 412rwhp, then with OTR, tune and exhaust we saw 465rwhp and with intercooler mods, the correct size injectors and some further tune mods we saw as a final hot run 488rwp, we also removed some pretty dodgy suspension and fitted our full coil over set up that came up good, the car drives really well. This GTS sits on some 22's and now goes as good as it looks.
Heres another one that came to us, "NOT RUNNING", the car had blown the just built transmission. This GTS had the full list of bolt-on's, cam, blower, big blower drives, stall, built trans, twin 3" exhaust, Twin throt, 4.11 diff, OTR, you name it. Once we fixed the trans we ran it up and found decent power 552rwhp (not the 600 that was claimed but not bad) but the combo was so wrong, the car drove like a lunatic was behind the wheel. So we went through it to get something worth owning, as it should be, this entailed, diff gears, std stall, full engine and trans tuning and a basic sort out where we also found that the headers and cats needed upgrading, the drive system needed some attention & the intercooler was incorrectly plumbed. At that we retuned and found best power of 590rwhp and the car was a lot better package, but we went further to suit the new owner and changed the cam and refitted the single throttle to give even better manners and let us get the car licensed with the supercharger on. This turned an expensive pain in the ass into some well worth its money that has all the manners you would expect for a new car with a great big set of balls when you need them.
This is a vehicle, a Vortech supercharged 6.0 litre L98 VZ that has been through the ringer more than it's fair share, it first came to us with a poor intercooled supercharger system an exhaust that was too small and very poor level of tune running 399rwhp, we sorted that out with upgrades to exhaust, tune, compressor drive and general tidying up to make a great improvement at 498rwhp. At that level the owner was very happy and the car stayed like that until the owner sold car 2 years latter. The new owner started upgrading mostly cosmetic but he also upgraded the S trim compressor for a T trim, to do this he had to get the car retuned, then found how although every man and his dog say's they can do this work, it does not always go so well, and the result was the car drove like a dog. The new owner then brought the car to us and on checking power it had 456rwhp with lots of tune problems, on discussion with owner he made the choice to do the full sort out, full tune and a cam upgrade, the car is now a pleasure to drive and came up to a 577rwhp.

This vehicle, a Eaton supercharged 6.0litre L98 VE came to us with a full supercharger system, headers and exhaust system fitted and tuned, it was claimed to be making 450rwhp, but the owner was not at all happy with the manners of how the car drove and how inconsistent the power felt. We checked power and found it ran 375rwhp and the tune was very poor but also only a 1 bar maf tune and the car was running the wrong injectors. We upgraded the air cleaner system, fitted a 2 bar map sensor, changed the injectors and custom 2 bar mafless tuned the car, this netted an easy 500rwhp and in fact we kept the timing low as to not make any more power being a std no cam engine.

This car, a stroked 5.0litre VS came to us in a real mess, with a huge price tag already spent, car had a full built 355 stroker, custom intercooled T trim Vortech supercharger system, Custom Exhaust, Large fuel system, Built 4l60e Trans, B&M Quick shifter, plus. We ran it up on the dyno and found a ridiculous 217rwhp, with some checking we found they had not timed properly, we reset and found that the car run 468rwhp. Everything was done wrong, exhaust was replaced, compressor drive was improved, intercooler plumbing was replaced, injectors where replaced, head gaskets where replaced, air cleaner system was replaced, dizzy and coil where replaced, fuel system was re-plumbed car was completely re-tuned and a number of other small details to sort this car out. With all this done, even though the main components of the vehicle had stayed the same we ended up with 602rwhp and a super tough car to drive, it had surpassed what the owner had hoped for but as a lot of this ort of situation he had spent a lot more than he should have to get this result, but that happens when you do things twice.

This car, a Twin Turbo, built 406 LS1 VY came to us with over $100k already spent, the car was unreliable, over heating and running a lot less power than the owner had been promised. We checked the car over, run it on the dyno to see what power it actually had (478rwhp) and then started to sort the mess out. We replaced the very expensive but poorly designed fuel system, re-designed the air cleaner system, repositioned the coils, re-plumbed the fuel and vacuum systems, tuned and set up both the PCM and the E-Boost systems to name a bit of what was needed, on dyno we ended up with a respectable 624.6rwhp and in the future the owner plans to upgrade turbos and heads to look at making the 750 to 800rwhp
This vehicle, a Eaton supercharged 6.0litre L98 VE came to us with a full supercharger system, cam, headers and exhaust system fitted and tuned, it was claimed to be making 500rwhp, but the owner was not at all happy with the manners of how the car drove and how inconsistent the power felt. We checked power and found it run 296rwhp, the tune was very poor, the car was running badly and we found it also had the wrong injectors. We upgraded the air cleaner system, fitted a full fuel system (as the car had to be used in some extreme conditions), changed the injectors and custom 2 bar mafless tuned the car, this netted a easy 513rwhp and in fact we kept the timing low as to not make any more power being a std engine and having to run on 95 oct fuel for some of its use.
This car, a Vortech supercharged 408 built LS2 VY came to us with the owner in a fix, he had not had the use of his car for over a year, it had cost a massive amount of money and kept having problems before the establishment that was doing the job could finish the car. When we received the car we found that it had a lot lower horse power (426.1rwhp) than claimed (800)and numerous faults and the general combination of parts was a mismatch. On discussion with the owner we set about making a car out of this mess, we changed the V7 Vortech compressor to a T Trim (more suited for this engine) sorted compressor drive, fitted fuel system (didn't have one), tidy up plumbing, wiring, etc, full 2 bar mafless tune and on dyno we saw a OK number of 520rwhp considering we still had to tip toe around the transmission (another component not done to suite the combo) that although had a lot previously spent on it was not strong enough to hold the power this would be capable of making.

This car, a VY Commodore came to us in a semi finished form, a built 383 LS1, T56, and a Pro Charger kit, on checking out the supercharger system had some design flaws for the amount of power that the owner was looking for. We ran the car up on Dyno and found a respectable 550rwhp, not enough for owners plans. We redesigned and fabricated this over the radiator intercooler system with a cold air intake system and other general redesigning to create a system capable of making over 700rwhp. In this instance we limited power to the strength of the LS1 components, still on the dyno the car tuned a very healthy 674rwhp and the owner plans a LS2 upgrade and then we can see how far this will really go.
This is another car, a VS Commodore sedan that was in a complete mess, owner was at wits end, at the stage he got it to us it would not even run. We made a complete assessment to give the owner some direction and with that started work, we removed the Motech ECM and re- wired the std PCM, then tuned to suit what he had, 412.6rwhp was the result of this V7 supercharged fully built Come components 355, "very sad". We then started to sort everything else, we changed, repaired or designed the exhaust system, fuel system, injectors, transmission, intercooler plumbing, compressor drive system, air cleaner system, and rebuilt engine and upgraded to a roller camshaft. With all this, but still the same major components we re-tuned and found 636rwhp and a daily driver with good manners, a pleasure to drive.
